Carl began the first half of his undergraduate studies at Northwestern University's School of Communication, completing his B.A. in liberal studies from Georgetown University, focusing on leadership studies and philosophy. He holds an M.B.S. in organizational leadership from the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, and a graduate certification in executive and organizational coaching from Columbia University.
