Joe Esparza is principal and founder of Esparza Foubert Consulting, an alternative investments advisory firm specializing in guiding clients through the complexities of investing in real estate assets, energy, art, and fine jewelry. He is also a broker with Tetra Global Real Estate, a regional firm specializing in the buying, selling, leasing, and valuation of all property types, from office condos to apartment buildings.

Most recently, Joe was a marketing advisor for EDGE Commercial Real Estate and an associate of Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), utilizing his real estate experience to deliver on institutional client needs, real estate investment sales, acquisitions, dispositions, and underwriting of assets. Prior to joining IPA, he was a portfolio administrator at Cushman & Wakefield, an international commercial real estate brokerage firm, where he administered a portfolio of over 60 properties comprising more than 10 million rentable square feet with an approximate value of $4 billion dollars.

Joe worked as a consultant to medical professionals on implementation of electronic medical record and legally mandated requirements, as well as advising physicians and practices on real estate matters. He also spent several years working at INOVA Fairfax Hospital/INOVA Healthcare System and the National Academies/Institute of Medicine as an analyst and project coordinator.

Joe is a member of the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GWHCC), the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and is a LEED Green Associate. Mr. Esparza attended Columbia University in the City of New York, served in the U.S. Navy as a Petty Officer Third Class, and is originally from El Paso, Texas.

Joe studied Biochemistry and pre-Medicine major at Columbia University, after which time he served in The United States Navy. His interests include volunteer work, traveling to visit family and friends, and attending college and professional football games whenever possible.
